I started my three-day trip in Bovec on Friday with a shorter tour to Krniška glavica, as then the logistics for the Saturday tour followed and of course the Rombon pizza couldn't be missed. velik nasmeh

From parking 5 circular to the top past the Grego hut and descent to the bivouac and along path 611 back to the bridge which I crossed and then along the road to the parking.
The whole path is normally passable and well marked, it was a nice morning, at the car drops started scaring. jezik

In the conditions I had, no winter gear was needed, gaiters yes, they came in very handy.

P.S. entrance to Zajzero is 5€, don't know when they start collecting, I arrived at 8.30h.

In Zajzero, as seen, new hut for toll collection but today not collecting. Park at the end, along marked path, past hut and on towards top. Snow there, used gaiters, without would be flood in boots, met two at top. Stay some time, then descend to Rudni vrh and back to Zajzero.

At the entrance to Zajzero I paid symbolic 5€, exactly as in December 2023. Three more times and I'll be at one-day parking in Vrata, if they don't raise prices here first velik nasmeh

Up via Alfonso della Mea, down past hut. Due to rain previous day and foggy cloudy weather during ascent I was soon wet from head to toe, feet miraculously stayed dry. Views I pictured from memory on the go, otherwise not possible, halfway to top hope for some sun rays finally extinguished. Somewhere halfway between bivouac and top need to cross snowfield, no winter gear needed, careful step yes. Even on top I summoned views from memory and in color, then surrendered to memories and decided that wet fog and gloomy gray is enough and continued the trip, of course down. Halfway to junction where to saddle or to hut I met some, at little lake, today more puddle, sun peeked out. At hut some bustle, also to car quite some visible heading up. Myself on shortcut in forest didn't meet many, more on road. At car some more lounging, snacking and remembering, then home to four-legged friend (couch!) It was nice, I'll come again nasmeh

Today from Zajzera past Grega Brothers Hut to the top of Krniška Glavica. Snow dry except right below the summit and between hut and start (depending on sun exposure)

Return same way, path other side and below summit ridge not looking trodden and today we "didn't feel like more".

Hiking crampons necessary for return. Summit windy, saw golden eagles, view over Zuc dal Bora to Antela-a and Pelmo.

Great day in experienced company.
