Trail from Iška. Today surprisingly warm in the sun. For descent crampons recommended. Lots of people and of course parking all over the place again, which delighted the municipal budget. At least ten cars got fined.

Today to Krim from Preserje. Trail almost bare to below the summit. In second half on some sections hard icy snow. Today temps above zero so hardly anywhere slippery. Snow starts a bit below 1000 m. On return started snowing so tomorrow conditions probably different. At hut quite a few people. Today could get tea or similar.

I was late afternoon from Iška to summit and descent to Iški vintgar. So snow was already falling nicely, below again mud for logging, higher up already quite white. So in upper trail part already some cm fresh. Crampons stayed in backpack.

Today to Krim from junction to hunters' hut Plehanov laz. Parked right by road to Rakitna. First time on this trail. First cart track, then to summit through forest. All the time light snowfall, bit of wind not bothering. Pleasant walk in winter forest. Met some. No views as expected

Start Strahomer. Up via Strmec. For Tuesday quite a lot of visitors on Krim. Especially this route which visitors obviously like.
Snow on trail starts around 800-900m. It's tracked but very hard and icy in places. Didn't need crampons-they rested in backpack.
Sun at top occasionally peeked out from behind clouds. Oh: apple strudel at top sat like ata na mamo

After long time again to Krim with father-in-law, this time from Strahomer. Up via Strmec and back via Kramarco. Trail via Strmec muddy only upper part on shortcut, via Kramarco dry. Views foggy, few visitors, bar was open. Father-in-law treated to schnapps and tea which was very good!

Since under trip Iška-Krim discussion came up that a bit further (ca 100-200m) from existing parking there's new parking (supposedly free for now), wonder where this parking is, as I haven't spotted it yet (probably quite new).
Since can't add pic there I write in this thread.

I was there in February by bike and can confirm that there is really a new parking lot there. It's large and already very close to the hut, on the right side. I also saw signs about parking fees, but didn't stop to check closely what they say. Simply from the bend where the road goes up to Krim, drive towards the hut until you see the large (huge) gravel parking lot on the right.

@exwannabe, it interested me too, I go up several times a month, but hadn't seen it yet. Well, I checked yesterday, it's there where you have the lower circle with question marks on the picture. If you don't drive by car there, you don't notice it, that's why I hadn't seen it. From the parking lot the path goes up and joins the classic cart track. It's called parking "Krim" (sign shows parking time, so probably paid), but I think mainly for those going to Vintgar, since road to Vintgar supposed to be prohibited for traffic (http://www.times.si/stil/potovanja/novost-v-iskem-vintgarju--a1a79eca60d45bfc08c556f932a7d571bb97e290.html). Those going to Krim often, we'll probably still park at the bend, because you warm up just right on initial flat and gentle ascent. Yesterday everyone parked at the bend too.

Turbo, I think it's not the parking you're talking about (and which I first thought too), but newer story that seems "right" after intersection where road to Krim goes. Will really need to go to "terrain" soon...
Wouldn't be surprised if soon in future "old parking" also becomes paid.

The one I noticed is already quite close to hut and to it you actually drive past no-traffic sign. When I was there, some cars were there and parking spaces somehow delimited with PVC tape. What will be when/if, don't dare guess

Today autumn-colored Krim from Iška. Lots of visitors, path dry and without peculiarities. Parking in Iška already works - 0.5 EUR/hour. Today wrong time printed - not adjusted yet.

Krim basked in the sun today. Nice and warm. In the last part of the path (from Iška vas) quite a few visitors involuntarily "slid", so at least for the last 20 min of walking (per sign) small crampons highly recommended, as it is icy in places.
Otherwise to Gornji Ig the path is dry, further on a bit mixed.

Path from Iška vas mostly dry, except a few hundred meters in the upper part. Crampons worth putting on for that part to be more carefree, especially downhill.
Otherwise, road section in valley being renovated, first parking half filled with sand and other material, but as written a few meters further newer parking with fee, which can be called very "Christian".  Rule: faster up-down, less you pay.
