You are really funny. Even in the much-praised Iglu the service sometimes limps... Given that there are usually 4 people in the shop, you sometimes have to really beg for service... and even after trying three different pairs of shoes, the salesman runs off somewhere... Regarding Kibuba: the online shop is familiar to me, sometimes you can get even 30% discount, it's true but you have to monitor the Kibuba website a bit. The goods are quality. Too good for 60% of climbers. Those more demanding who seek more technical gear anyway know that with these things the selection is mostly limited and you don't get everything whenever you want. In Kibuba you also have cheap but good stuff. Enthused with Milo products (btw maybe someone knows Milo manufacturer web page? on net can't find or throws very different results from desired?)

Personally, I like the Kibuba shop very much. Prices are appropriate and experiences with sellers also positive. Stamps win. LP

One of my rare comments, but I am also very satisfied with the Kibuba shop, it is worth checking the daily product once a day which is heavily discounted and once a month when many products are discounted.

When buying I mainly orient myself on already gained experiences regarding product quality and heard-tested from other climbers. Important that jacket, pants fit the person, feels comfortable and pockets serve their purpose, as well as material. No gear is so bad, but on the market there are still big differences between better brands which are narrowly focused on the product e.g. Deuter-backpacks or Silva-lights, compasses, Markill-stoves, Vaude-tents clothing, Ajungilak, Rab-down sleeping bags, Grivel-ice axes crampons etc. Price of these incomparably better products from firms making full assortment e.g. Salewa, Ferino, Camp, Mt Kinley is not much higher or sometimes not at all!. Finally I also haven't heard that on account of bought climbing gear which you trust and is more useful, you save something in the long term, since worse clothes you change already 2x and more - tested on Mammut Aconcagua jacket, in between you still feel cold all the time, tight, soaks and I don't know what else.

And who knows where to get cheap hiking winter pants, would need them for maybe 3x to mountains this season. 100 euros too expensive for me. Would need also gaiters. Could get that for 80 euros.

In Kibuba they have OK Milo gaiters. They are thin and breathe nicely. Purpose of gaiters is snow doesn't stuff between boot and trouser leg and not to warm you. So my advice: gaiters be light and especially thin. Heavy and clunky Goretex gaiters you don't need and waste of money. Strap personally better if strap than cable, cuz snow piles on it or ice lump forms around cable. Even with summer waterproof pants perfectly wet walk in hills, just wear long johns or active undies below. If you get cold easy buy thicker and lined winter pants.

These are OK too, but I took those for 20 EUR and have no complaints. On previous Gore-Tex gaiters, the inner side built up a lot of condensation from sweating, these practically none. It's true that they tear quickly if you're not skilled at walking with crampons.

I rarely go to Kibuba because I'm used to other manufacturers. Some time ago I checked Hala A at BTC, where they have RAB gaiters with Event 3-layer breathable membrane (full protection against wetness and much better breathability than Gore-Tex). Price for top brand and quality also high, 49 EUR. With card some discount. I still have old CAMP Cordura with rubber straps, flawless. But after more than 10 years of use even the strongest Cordura is struggling.

With a combination of warm winter underwear they are completely fine, yes. For gaiters I agree with tol. I have Kibuba softshell winter pants and I'm very satisfied with them, used them also in gullies and at extremely low temperatures. But you can "show off" a bit more and buy winter pants with inner gaiter (price accordingly high). These are a bit better and very good value: http://kibuba.com/index.php?&cID=2&scID=12&pID=1625 I bought gaiters in Iglu... But definitely the best product in Kibuba - Sneaker Polartec Power Stretch: http://kibuba.com/index.php?&cID=2&scID=10&pID=493

In any case, the "fun" we're doing isn't cheap... Things cost money, the higher you go up the ladder, the more expensive everything is. But to reassure you, for the start you don't need much. And one more thing, don't skimp on things (gear) that are crucial in the mountains!

You read it wrong. Somewhere there are percentages and somewhere €. Where you think there's a mistake, it clearly says reduced by 49 € and not 49%.

Maybe it would be smart to look at the thing a bit better before criticizing - it says reduced by 49 € (euros) and not percentages (%).
