Last Sunday we planned to go to Javornik, but road closure due to landslide stopped us mrk pogled

. This time we happily arrived in Lome, surprised by not too cold air around 1 degree. In Gorica, when we started around 10:00, it was -2. Along the forest path first to the top of the ski slope, then down a bit to the hut and up to the tower. Here we skied on soft snow with hard base, up to nearly empty ski area and skied to the car, partly on ski piste, partly off jezik

. To me this ascent seems fairy-tale like in some parts. On the return it's worth stopping at Metka for excellent žlikrofi with roast. mežikanje

True.... that's why I photographed it. I think the hut owners set it up, the hut was open but we didn't stop. Thanks. That branch on top is excellent for photos, and overall the landscape captivates, at least me. Take care!

I like hiking in such weather too. I looked at the pictures, very nice. Yeah, on Saturday it was a different song.....but both melodies say a lot.

Today something short, autumn-colored...started at Lome-Javornik ski area and continued on muddy forest path, soon "lost" the markings velik nasmeh

and climbed straight up the very steep ski slope to the top to Javornik ski hut. Then to Pirnat hut and short hop to Javornik summit and viewpoint tower. Back we caught the lost markings mežikanje

and returned to start along them.
Weather on our side again, valley had fog as main word nasmeh

Today on Javornik, there was a memorial hike. Lots of people, wonderful weather, snow just enough to mention to call it winter hike! nasmeh

I was also today on winter hike to Javornik. Nice weather. Went first over Čekov vrh, view really unique, enough snow for trudging.

Wonderful Sunday on Javornik. Didn't join the hike but experienced joy and good mood in hut anyway. Path super, pleasantly snowy, sunlit true winter idyll smile

It's ČELKOV VRH. The snow depth really wasn't a problem.

Yesterday went from Loma to the summit. Path varied, from dry path to ice. Yesterday morning summit less visited. At the ski slope too little snow for skiing. Up on the clearing suitable terrain for cross-country skis just no track. Since I strayed a bit from the path I got to know the Javornik surroundings too.
