... Narcissi, this year fewer than last year, but there are still many unopened flowers. They will bloom for at least another two weeks. Keti1, go on the path, white princesses are blooming, meadows are inviting but there are no intoxicating scents due to the rain. Also in the hut under Golica Bojana and Katarina will welcome you gladly.

I was there last Sunday in this wonderfully scented paradise. Most of them are from Sedlo Suha along the ridge path to Golica.
You can also make a circular path.

Last Sunday they still smelled quite nicely. The best from Križevec along the road to the Suha saddle, then nicely along the ridge over Mala Golica and Krvavko to Golica. Down to the hut and then from the hut back to Križevec. At least that's best for me. The path from the hut is already quite worn out and destroyed. Most narcissuses as always on Mala Golica and under Krvavko.

So are there still narcissuses? And hope that the fields and meadows are still white, and that they hold out there until mid-May.
Judging by the pictures, is it still worth visiting? And no more crowd like two weeks ago.

12 May 2016 - There are some obstacles on the trail and strong erosion on the difficult part of the trail. Therefore we recommend going to Golica by other trails. Good luck!

Yesterday I saw a warning on the trail that the winter trail is closed.
Narcissuses are also fading and it's still nice up there.
But I had a bit of bad luck with weather, at first nice below, Golica top in fog, at hut some sun, some clouds, but fog cleared, so I went to the top. Above Jesenice there was a dark cloud, so I went back down soon enough.
I like going to Golica a lot because it's close, up I always go by different trail.
Yesterday started at fire station (Pl. under Golica) past Fenc, 10 days ago at Cop, through Savske jame, three weeks ago over Jelenkamen, Lenckov Spik, Pusti rovt, last year from Kriz. along the ridge

Edina, those now added narcissus pics from which trail? Where to start, or how far to drive to still find those fields/meadows?

@golica, shots are from the slopes of Mala Golica. Above the Suha saddle there are no narcissuses for some hundred meters, higher up yes. Unfortunately many are already browned and wilted, they don't smell anymore. I too missed them due to illness. One can barely drive to the saddle from Križevec, in wet conditions the start of Pusti Rovt might be a problem, but from Križevec to the Suha saddle around 3km almost flat...

The evening before the 7th hike to Golica was also dedicated to celebrating the 70th anniversary of the PD Jesenice president. We concluded the pleasant gathering the next morning with an ascent to the top.
