Hello. I also must congratulate all who did such magnificent work. Thank you. As long as there are such among us, we don't need to fear for our beautiful mountains. Once again thanks and bravo!!!

From Zadnjica towards Dolič a few days ago, when it was really sparkling in the sun.

No sign of the sun . I start in the dark in Zadnjica hoping there might be blue sky above Dolič. But the last few days don't look good for blue sky . Up via Čez Komar, gullies dry, meet some chamois, further a bit of snow accumulating to under 15 cm at mulatjera junction. Hard and frozen of course, so crampons on there. On mulatjera, quite some just below Dolič on path, so careful. All clad in ice, snow and rime, no blue sky of course. Choosing between winter route and mulatjera. Finally pick mulatjera, hard, icy, exposed, good that crampons grip super. After two turns turn into gully I've climbed many times. Not fully iced yet, but doable, continue on "winter" variant, much higher back on mulatjera, walk on it a bit then lose it. Thick fog or so-called "white out" - total whiteness convinces me continuing would be quite risky, so turn back. All the time follow own tracks, carefully downclimb gully, strengthen with tea at Dolič hut, starts snowing (wish it'd dump at least a meter), wind was already blowing from west before. Back via mulatjera to Zadnjica. Nice tour. Conditions from 1800 up very wintery, mountains clad in ice shell and hard snow, so caution. p.s. this thread could be merged, there are 4 or 5 open on same topic.

Started from Pokljuka, to Vodnik hut path no issues, snow starts some 30 min after Vodnik hut. Winter gear not needed as snow soft, but higher and at hut quite some. To Kanjavec per warden almost no one recently, to Planika need to cross some snowfields. Great caution needed here, base unstable, slip risk. Hut operating normally, food excellent.

Please for info if the path to Dolič from Zadnjica or Luknje (that upper part under the hut) is still snowy or one can get up without winter gear? Also for ZS. Tx

On Saturday it looked still snowy (we came from Veliko polje), Czechs were rolling up there, who didn't even have ice axes in their hands when they showed up in front of the hut, no crampons were seen either. But that doesn't mean anything yet. One went further towards Kanjavec, but returned after a couple of minutes.

Info from the previous Saturday, not the last one. According to data from Koča na Prehodavcih, the whole path via Hribarice to Dolič was still in snow then. Without crampons and ice axe one was not allowed on the path. Substantially nothing much has changed in one week. Conditions are substantially different from last year - more snow and also icier. No data on how it is from Zadnjica to the hut.

This Saturday I went over Hribarice, not quite to the hut, as I decided this time for the approach to Triglav via Planika. The descent from Hribarice towards Dolič is snowy, based on the conditions last week I assume it's the same with the path from Zadnjica to the hut. Otherwise, the hut has a phone, they will know best. If Czechs are rolling up there it doesn't mean anything yet. Besides them, others are also tumbling and rolling on the snow, I witnessed a Croat sliding from under the last cables below Little Triglav towards Kredarica, besides him several others slid this weekend. Most without consequences, about some you could have read. There is still snow, it is quite hard, requires caution everywhere, and equipment in places.
