Yesterday the path took me there too. I parked the car at the parking lot below Planina Podvežak. An extremely nice asphalt road leads to Planinšek, the last 300 m of elevation gain and four km are tolerable gravel. Grazing season is still on, so the hut is open. Milk doesn't appeal to me nasmeh

, so I pass the hut, catch up four lads who probably went to Ojstrica, I turn right to Prag 1870. Paths are well trodden and marked. First visit Veliki vrh, walk to Velika zelenica where very tall grass surprises me. To Molička peč looks like a hop but it's not, along the edge very exposed in spots, fighting scrub I always lose mrk pogled

Mists occasionally with peaks, so only Mala Ojstrica which is really small, height probably wrong. My 'Aljažek' Locus map measured 14m more consistently.
As always, pics tell the rest.

Ten minutes above it, my first goal of the day appears - Veliki vrh 2110 m.

Nice greetings!
Does anyone know the conditions on Dleskovska Plateau (Veliki vrh, Lučki Dedec...)? Can you hike these easy paths without crampons and ice axe or are they still mandatory?

Yesterday south-facing, path without issues, no special gear needed. How it is today after snowfall, hard to say.

Hi. Does anyone know conditions on Dleskovska Plateau - Vodotocno Lake, can you hike easy paths without crampons and ice axe or still mandatory?

Hi,
today at Molička planina, winter gear not mandatory unless for harder peak of course. Can reach Vodotocno Lake without. Depends on snow, today warmer and snow not frozen.

Saša100, yesterday on Velika Planina snow was solidly hard in morning, later softens of course. So without crampons in morning no go on steeper slopes. Good luck nasmeh

The road to Planina Ravne is still quite solid. I think from the turn-off to Podvežak to Planina Ravne it is even better. Some ditches have been deepened by storm waters.
From the cirque we climb to Dolge Trate, where mists start chasing us. We continue to Dleskovec and descend to Jamarski bivak. Short break here, hearty snack. We continue to Veliki Vrh. We descend again and return to Dolge Trate. We try a descent variant that slips away - scree. Then we do the tested descent and end with cold beer at the shepherd hut. Approx. 12km in 8h 30min. Lots of blueberries seen and pickers too!!!
Sun, mists, clouds, at times quite autumnal.

Today loop in the eastern part of the plateau.
Start at Ravne and head to the cirque below Dolge Trate. Interested in the passage along the right edge above the cirque, sure it exists. Missed the entry, so the initial part was quite adventurous, bushes and climbing on the exposed ridge. After initial gymnastics through bushes and some tough details, we climbed to the edge and lo and behold, nice trodden path below us! We thought it starts at the cirque entry, but it seems its beginning is a bit further from the hut at Ravne! Yay, next time!
Well, after initial troubles we nicely followed the path along the edge above the cirque all the way to Dolge Trate, steep but quite followable! The initial part drained our energy well, so we walked from Dleskovec to Veliki vrh more slowly and caught our breath more than views. Weather was wonderful and views truly autumnal! On Veliki vrh it was blowing like mad, so we quickly headed to Zelenica and descended along its edge to shelter. Views from the edge into Robanov kot are really beautiful there! Along the edge we continue to Molička peč and from there along the trail towards Križevnik. Mecesni are coloring!
At the end we stroll to Cuca, which is also nicely autumnal and currently really imposing!
