Dleskovska Plateau is blooming, today's day unforgettable. Morning start at Podvežak, to Zelenica, then to Molička planina, to Kocbekov dom, Vodotočnik, return over Desko and Lastovec, path with quite a lot of elevation difference, but the nicest were the scents of various flowers. I don't intend to bore with botany, let the pics tell their story. Ah, discovered a habitat of redcurrant, which I have never encountered in this area before.
Safe steps.

Since the path to Ojstrica is not "ploughed" , I had to settle for several lower peaks. Started at the end of the road below planina Podvežak (road dry and fine), direction Korošica, where I followed old tracks that later disappeared, but cairns helped me and brought me to Deska. Here I met two more avid and tireless hikers and we continued the path together. Next goal was Tolsti vrh then descent again and a bit through scree, a bit over rocks to the top of Veliki vrh and under Dleskovec back to start. Winter gear not needed, but gaiters and poles recommended, snow varies completely, from 0-30 cm. Day was sunny and very warm , girls thanks again for the tour, because I know you'll read it, hehe

I saw about 3 people on the top yeah, I started at lonca and towards kocbek. Intention was veliki vrh but I got lost from kocbek onwards  .
Also saw 3 on deska and lučki grandpa.

On Veliki vrh there were four of us, we saw three descending from Deska, then we were at the chapel on Molička planina and three or three were on V. vrh, Rozka, obviously you were more.

Rozka, those old tracks that got lost were mine. I also got lost in Friday's fog... Nowhere was anyone, only one ptarmigan - white grouse was stepping in the snow.
Next time I'll go to this end preferably in sunny weather and with skis...

Thanks for the tracks. Yeah, there you get off track quick even without fog. You should have seen, when we returned, it was already a real highway

Maybe this year a week too early for visiting Dleskovška Plateau, and not the best weather either, but here for me the most beautiful.
Despite bad weather there were also sunny moments, ... and in the backpack quite some flowers for tea.

Today too we had to catch sun rays in the morning, as it clouded quickly.
Flowers mostly wilted, but today we tried path over pines, no success, missed path from Dleskovec top to Veliki Vrh, went back to top again and found path, markings renewed in places, but signs still on ground some places , plenty cairns on path, just need to spot them.

This area has grown to my heart, so many secluded corners and paths, still left Križevnik - Poljske device ... to Velika Zelenica, missed here once ... this year plan when larches yellow, this path again.

Today via Lastovec and Deska for royal views to Tolsti vrh.
Start at 6.30 a.m., parking a bit higher than the junction of Planina Ravne - Podvežak road. To here the road is clear, but wind downed many trees, so logging and removal is ongoing at this spot, and due to fallen trees the path that goes above Planinšek into the forest and joins the Podvežak road is also very damaged. There are not many parking spots yet, so the early hour is the golden hour.
Along the road first a bit on snow and a bit on bare ground toward Podvežak, soon snow covers the road. Follow the road to the hunters' hut at Brežiče, then ascend past numerous downed trees toward Lastovec. Continuation to Deska on the left, less steep side, views fantastic. All the way to Tolsti vrh the snow was firm, with a thin crust. On Tolsti vrh there was quite a bit of windpacked snow. No sinking. The path via Podvežak toward Vodotočnik has some prepared markers that drop from Deska toward the scree; likewise, on this section we saw no major avalanche, which tends to trigger here readily. Met only a few ski tourers who also enjoyed the wonderful day. Return at 11 a.m. already in fairly softened snow on the ascent path. Day and views for the gods.
