I have Canon Power Shot SX 260 HS, 20X ZOOM, GPS, 12.1 MEGA PIXELS, 4.5-90.0 mm, small, handy, I'm satisfied. Before I had Canon SX 200 IS, that one served me well too.

Rushed again? velik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh ..you're really something.. Well I suggest a Nikon model coming in 2016..lots of pixels and big zoom..won't be expensive.. So take time, don't rush too much, if interested just ask zadrega

Once you fall into camera buying you're trapped, for sure when I looked at cheaper ones too, as a bargain hunter I came to the conclusion best buy is Canon SX 240/260, small pocket camera you can take anywhere, even later if sell Canon and buy better it sells faster than Panasonic.
Nikon, Canon, Sony only among these I'd choose.

Well, posting once more...velik nasmeh what bugs me most is that nowhere it says if the camera is suitable for night shots or not; if I knew, the purchase would be easier.
Looking for pocket camera, not too heavy, right pixels and zoom, say 14 pixels and 20x zoom, night photos decent quality and priced around 200 euros. Please help me find a good one, I'm in a dilemma with too much choice. Also, can this Canon do night photos?

Hribovcnasmeh ..I'll repeat myself: for night shots you need above all a tripod- without it simply doesn't go!!
and compact cameras basically aren't that great for night photos..you can make some solid photo (using tripod) but don't expect too much-I'll try with comparison- where can I buy new cheap sports car...

Lg, I wouldn't agree with you, Panasonic is the highest quality camera brand. Tell me rather please how this Canon for 95 euros performs at night? Is it good for anything?
