Jezersko (starting point parking at cargo cableway for Czech Hut) - ferrata below Czech Hut - Žrelo - Kranjska Hut on Ledine - ferrata to Velika Baba - along ridge to Mala Baba and descent over Jenkova Planina to valley (conditions 6.06.2015)
Ferrata below Czech Hut is somehow three-part, first part most exposed and hardest, especially just before exit (maybe C or a bit more, but this part relatively short), then all easier, less exposed and less steep. The route itself and placement in environment - well, more commercial, once to see and climb, doesn't leave much in memory, otherwise it's fastest access to Czech Hut from Jezersko.
But once you have all ferrata gear on, logical continuation to Kranjska Hut on Ledine, in between quite demanding section, secured path (almost ferrata) over Žrelo, which is officially closed at this time! In gully before Žrelo need to cross some 30 m snowfield, upwards over Žrelo cables damaged and torn in places. Don't recommend this path, as stones fall too, and its right walls don't look too solid and stable.
At Kranjska Hut nothing new this year, otherwise friendly keeper nicely maintains surroundings and cares for signposts and marks. Above hut continue to Velika Baba and for me definitely one of nicer our ferratas (though not as hard as 1/3 of previous mentioned below Czech Hut), but long, from approach and long walls - no end to it, exit cables at saddle between Ledinski Vrh and Baba, then (if following marks) to Baba summit still left around, almost spirally up, path from here less demanding and no more secured, locally still airy.
Jezerska Baba has two almost equally high summits, first has logbook, second summit good 5 min away.
For descent choose ridge path to Mala Baba and Jenkova Planina, also marked, ridge traverse - even downhill not too hard, unsecured, ridge relatively wide enough, but not for beginners (better in opposite direction uphill). Above Jenkova Planina scree on path not hindering passage, from Jenkova Planina down pleasant forest walk, valley and start below Karničarjeva House.
For described path we took cca 4-5 hours to Baba summit, descent a bit less than three. In summer hot days, start early enough, as head heats up already on lower ferrata, below Velika Baba sun heats back strongly.
