Depends  on fitness/readiness...it's about 20/21 km from Zgornjih Poljčan/start of the hiking path above Zgornjimi Poljčanami to the top of Donačka gora and +1500/1600m positive elevation...On return of course a bit less - mainly elevation...

You can check the link, how many km and elevation it was in February. I started at the hut on Boč, went to the top of Boč, then along the path to the top of Donačka and back to the hut on Boč, without the top of Boč on return. Suunto measured 33 km, elevation there and back together a bit over 2000. If you start from Poljčane add about 400 elevation to my starting point at the hut and one km extra. I used just under 5 hours, with 30 min stop at the hut below Donačka.

Yesterday we walked this path and enjoyed all conditions: sun, wind and finally rain too  Picturesque, varied, solitary and admirable...
Zgornje Poljčane - via climbing path to Boč - descent to Dom pod Bočem - Plešivec - Rudijev dom - Donačka gora - and back the same way to Poljčane.

Photos-gallery of pics, maybe GPS track log wouldn't hurt, so that we can relive,, this path too...Still, it's about a considerable length of the path and respectable elevation...Anyway Bravo!

I'm not talking about responsibility for using the path, but about using required equipment and consequently the responsibility of those who rescue us
in case something happens to us (e.g. death of a mountaineer on such a path due to omission of protection).

Where's the problem? Do you need company or are you afraid of missing the path, like we did the first time we did this route. Well, back then it was only one way, now every year we do this route both ways. You rack up elevation and of course kilometers too.

We're not afraid of the path. If we miss it, we'll get to some place somehow. We're more worried about getting bored, since there are only two of us.
