ločanka, nice! I have a feeder and fill it every evening. Sadly, no greenfinches for the fourth year, which surprises me. This year exceptionally few, e.g. long-tailed tits-redwings, siskins, chaffinches. But full of regulars - all three tits - great tit, blue tit, marsh tit, greenfinches, tree sparrows, great spotted woodpecker, blackbirds, magpies, goldfinches, hooded crow, nuthatch, coal tit. Currently a flock of long-tailed tits surprises me every day, which somehow come around three times a winter. Haven't seen bullfinches this year, which usually come every winter. Haven't seen yellowhammer either, which I usually see every winter. Around our village (Predoslje village - neighbors to Brdo castle) three pairs of swans stay.

Winter or approximation thereof is obviously at an end. Today at 12.55 a large loud flock of cranes over lower Vipava valley flew eastwards. Then at 15.50 a smaller flock of cca 100 cranes circled for a long time above me and slowly moved east.

Sparrows have flown in, taken farewell from winter. Blue tits still missing. Only some tit flies by. When it wants food.

I don't know if it's a buzzard or something else. Does anyone know? It flew right next to the house before. It posed so I could photograph it and greet it.
