On the first page in picture 15 I showed the timetable board. First ride from the valley at 8, first vertical column times from middle station. right column departures from top station. Board is at top station. These times usually stay the same every year.
From top station start at 9, to summit 2.5 hours moderate hike.

In the above link "kein Ruhetag" means the gondola runs every day. But to be 100% and not mislead anyone, I sent them an email too and got a friendly reply that it's true - runs every day! So easy nowadays...

Yesterday we made the ascent to Ankogel in nice sunny weather which offered relatively good views. The path to the summit is good, snow poses no obstacles, we could enjoy the top and nothing chased us down to the valley.

In the route description on this portal the estimated hiking time to Ankogel is 3h. Is this time realistic for an average hiker? On our trails I still manage or even faster than the prescribed times.

Then you'll need about two hours to the summit, since three hours for this route is really too much. Last year I needed one hour and three quarters at a fairly moderate pace, but it's true, the path, subtracting a couple of miniature snow patches, was entirely dry. Best regards.

I was yesterday(12.8.) in Ankogel group, the day before slept in Hannoverhaus(2720m).
Weather in the morning was cold and windy,Ankogel was in fog and clouds.
Got only to Little Ankogel(3097m) which was in thick fog,and the ridge to Ankogel was in fog too so didn't risk going further as couldn't see more than 10 meters ahead.
Ankogel will wait a bit when nice weather comes.

On Saturday we were on Ankogel, weather was super, just the views weren't what we wanted. Today conditions at this altitude are probably completely different.
