Access to the starting point:
From Dravograd, drive through the Vič border crossing to St. Andre. Follow the road to Wolfsberg, where signs for St. Michael point you to the left. From St. Michael, follow the road towards Lading. The ascending road leads you higher up to a less marked crossroads where you continue left. A relatively steep road then leads through the village of Lading to a large parking lot located slightly above the village.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the road on the right in the direction of Ladinger Hütte. The winding road you are walking on quickly leads you to the next junction, where you continue to the right again. The road then starts to climb moderately and after an hour and a half of walking leads us out of the forest. After a few minutes of scenic walking, the path leads to the Ladinger Hütte.
From the hut, follow the cart track towards Ladinger Spitze. "Leave the Cart track, which ascends moderately and crosses a few small springs, at a point where signs point slightly to the right onto a footpath which begins to climb steeply up a grassy slope. The scenic route leads us higher up to a wire fence, along which we then climb to the top.

Morda ne bi bilo slabo napisati, da je za pohodnike iz severozahodne in severne Slovenije bližja pot čez Jezersko, Velikovec(Völkermarkt) in od tam po zvezni cesti do Wolfsberga, če nimate vinjete. Če pa jo imate pa greste čez Ljubelj in pri Celovcu na avtocesto in pri Wolfsbergu ven. V obeh primerih potem naprej kot piše zgoraj.
Kar se ture tiče je za začetnike z manj kondicije morda primernejša pot čez Wolfsberger Hütte. Po tej poti čez Ladinger Hütte sem se vračal in je kar nekoliko strma in še slabše označena. Do same Laddinger Hütte pa je lepa in ne preveč strma gozdna cesta
