Velo polje

Description of mountain pasture:
Velo polje is a large flat mountain pasture in the heart of the Julian Alps. The pasture is surrounded by high peaks such as Triglav, Vernar, Tosc and Mišelj vrh. A cheese dairy stands on the pasture, which is part of the Bohinj Cheese Trail. The view of the aforementioned mountains is beautiful, except for Mišelj vrh, which is obscured by its forepeak Koštrunovec.
