Velo polje

Description of mountain pasture:
Velo polje is a large flat alpine pasture in the heart of the Julian Alps. It is surrounded by high peaks including Triglav, Vernar, Tosc, and Mišelj vrh. A cheese dairy on the pasture is part of the Bohinj Cheese Route. There is a beautiful view of the aforementioned mountains except Mišelj vrh, which is obscured by its forepeak Koštrunovec.
