Triglavski dom na Kredarica is mountain hut with the highest altitude in Slovenia. It is open through all the year, but out of the season just in emergencies. From mountain hut is great view to Mali and Veliki Triglav and to the dissapearing glacier. By the recent measurements, glacier extension was only 1 hectare. By the way, glacier's name is Zeleni sneg (Green snow). View is also great to other peaks. In summer time you will notice sheeps around mountain hut. Beside is also the highest weather station in Slovenia. Mountain hut is getting its electricity from sun cells and two wind generating stations. Beside is also chapel, where is mass taking place on every Sunday in August.
