Strunjan Saltworks

Description of mountain:
Strunjan Saltworks are located on the outskirts of the Strunjan Landscape Park. The salt pans are adjacent to the salt house, and from the bridge between the salt pans and Stjuža, you can enjoy a beautiful view of Stjuža, Strunjan Saltworks, Strunjan bay, St George's Church in Piran and the nearby hills. Today, the salt house houses the administration of the Piran Landscape Centre.
The centre of the Strunjan Landscape Park is open to visitors all days of the week. Weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm. Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 5 pm. Closed on public holidays. In case of bad weather, derogations are possible.
