Škofje

Description of peak:
Škofje is a 973 m high peak located above the villages of Čeplez, Planina pri Cerknem and Podpleče. The peak itself, on which stands a small concrete pillar, is covered with forest, but from the grassy ridge just below the peak, we have a beautiful view of Porezen, Kojca, part of the Lower Bohinj Mountains, and the peaks of Škofjeloško and the Cerkljansko hills.
The summit has a registration box with a registration book and a stamp, and there is a wooden bivouac a little below the summit to the west.
