Škavnica

Description of peak:
Škavnica is a 734-metre-high peak above Vipava. From the top of the peak, where a small cross and a bench stand, you can enjoy a very nice view of the Vipava valley and the peaks above it. The peak is surrounded by rocks, on which you will also observe numerous karst phenomena. Near the top (5 minutes) there is also a wooden pavilion called the Theodosius Bivouac.
