Description of mountain hut:
Hut Rojacher Hütte is located in the Goldberg mountain group, below the slopes of Hoher Sonnblick at an altitude of 2,718 metres. The hut offers a very nice view of the nearby Goldbergkees glacier and the Hoher Sonnblick. Schareck (3122m) and Alteck (2942m) are also visible. The hut is named after the mine owner Ignaz Rojacher, who also built a meteorological observatory at the top of Hoher Sonnblick. The hut is open from the end of June to the end of September.
