Monte Raut

Description of peak:
Raut is a 2025 m high limestone lookout over the Friuli plain and the second highest peak of the ridge between Lakes Barcis and Selva. Its striking appearance complements the panorama beautifully. Three paths lead up to it, all via the Forcella Capra notch. The summit cliffs rise precipitously above the wide and steep grassy slopes. A cross with a register stands at the top.
