Millstone quarry

Description of mountain:
Millstone quarry is located on the slopes of the old Osterberg Castle above the Besnica stream valley. The extraction of millstones probably dates back to Roman times. It was first mentioned in 1567. There are several small quarries on the hillside, the largest of which has a bench and an information board. There are also some unfinished millstones visible in the quarries. The Ostrovrhar Trail also leads past the quarries.
