Japetić

Description of peak:
Japetić is the highest peak of the Samobor Mountains. It is located in its western part and is the house mountain of the town of Jastebarsko. On the top there is a metal lookout tower (transferred from Medvednica/Sljemen when the TV tower was erected there), which offers an outstanding view in all directions except the east. The Žitnica Mountain Lodge is also located near the summit.
