Hocharn

Description of peak:
Hocharn (also Hoher Aar, Hochnarr) is the highest peak in the Goldberg Group at 3254 metres. The summit is situated on the border between Kärnten (Carinthia) and Salzburg (SalzburgerLand). From the summit you have a very nice view over most of the Goldberg mountain group, and you can also see the Grossglockner (Great Klek). Below the slopes of the summit are the glaciers of the Hocharnkees (east), the Krummelkees (north) and the Großfleißkees (west).
