Zagrad - Almin dom na Svetini

Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Maribor take the exit Celje and follow the road towards Laško. Shortly after Celje (before Laško), the road to Celjska Koča turns left (at the traffic lights) over a bridge. On the other side of the bridge over the Savinja River, continue to the right and follow the road for another 200m to the underpass under the railway line, after which you park in the parking lot near the fire brigade in Zagrad.

Path description:
From the parking lot at the fire station, we follow the marked footpath in the direction of Hotel Celjska koča, which after a short climb leads us to an asphalted road, which we then follow for some time. When the asphalt road makes a right turn (at the cross), leave it and continue straight ahead on a wide footpath that climbs along the edge of the meadow. In the upper part of the meadow, the path turns left and leads us to the road, which we follow to the right, but only to the point where the wide path to Hotel Celjska koča and Grmada (sharp left Grmada, steep path) branches upwards to the left. The path leads us higher up and leads us back to the road, where it leads us in a slight downhill past Trobiševa bukva. After a few minutes' walk along the road, a marked cart track branches off to the left uphill, which soon leads us to the crossroads of the route. Here we continue straight along the path, which soon leads us to the road, which we follow for a few minutes to Celjska hut.
From the hut, continue along the left-hand road in the direction of Svetina, which leads us after 15 minutes' walk to the crossroads of the trail, where the trail branches off sharp right up to Tolsti vrh, and sharp left down to Pečovniška koča. Here we continue on the road, which leads us past the quarry and past some houses to a place where we leave the wide road and continue the climb slightly left, along a worse road, which climbs parallel to the road we have just left. This worse road then leads us in a slight ascent after about 15 minutes to Alma's home in Svetina.
