Access to the starting point:
a) From the motorway Ljubljana - Koper take the exit Unec, then follow the road in the direction of Cerknica and further in the direction of Bloška Polica and Nová vas. From Nová vas, continue on the main road towards Sodražica, and follow it to the nearby junction where the road to Studeno na Blokah and the settlement of Hrib - Loški Potok branches off to the right. A slightly narrower road leads quickly to the village Studeno na Blokah, where the road to Belovka begins. There are no parking spaces in the village, so you have to park in a suitable place in front of or behind the village.
b) From the road Ljubljana - Kočevje, at Žlebič, take the road towards Sodražica. From Sodražica continue on the main road towards Nová vas na Blokah, and we follow the road to the settlement Runarsko, or the crossroads a few 100 metres after the end of the village. From this junction, take a sharp left in the direction of Studeno na Blokah and the settlement of Hrib - Loški Potok. A slightly narrower road leads quickly to the village Studeno na Blokah, where the trail to Belovka begins. There are no parking spaces in the village, so you have to park in a suitable place in front of or behind the village.
Path description:
The route to Belovka starts at a small crossroads near a house with an orange facade. At the house, leave the main road towards Hrib - Loški potok and continue left along a side road that continues between a few houses. Walk along the road for only 10 metres and then turn slightly right onto the cart track road, which quickly leads to a view of the hay meadows. With fine views of the surrounding villages, you quickly reach the Mobitel and Simobil transmitter, where cart track passes onto the partly vegetated ridge of the Belovka River. Higher up, the path opens up to a view of the Krim and, with good visibility, the Kamnik and Savinja Alps. After crossing a small fence, the path leads us to a scenic peak, from which we have a view of the Bloško Plateau and the surrounding hills.
