Access to the starting point:
From the main road, take a few steps up to the Church of the Holy Cross, where you will see mountain signs nearby. Continue along the cart track, which first crosses a short lane of wods and then climbs gently across a meadow. On the other side of the meadow, the path enters the forest and leads to a crossroads, where you continue along the right-hand cart track (the left-hand one leads you to Begunje). Here, at the crossroads, there is also a sign informing you that you are entering a bear area. The moderately steep path through the forest is soon joined by the first path from Begunje. The trail then becomes more difficult and crosses a few small clearings, after which another trail from Begunj joins from the left. Here we continue to the right along a beautiful path which leads us in a slight ascent along the top slope in a few minutes to the top.

Danes bila prvič na tem vrhu, štartala iz Begunj. Čudovit krožni pohodek. Tiste jase pred vrhom so zelo očarljive. Močno priporočam, ker je to čudovit, odmaknjen svet, predvsem pa gre za lahko, sprehodniško turco.

Tudi jaz sem šele lansko zimo odkrila lepi svet Menišije, čeprav sem le slabo uro vožnje stran doma. Res prijazen vrh, meni lepši kot Slivnica, le medvedov, pravijo je tukaj precej

Pohod smo zastavili krožno. Začeli v Begnah in se pri povratku ustavili na Žnidarjevi kmetiji v Kožljeku, ter se vrnili do avtomobilov v Begne.
Dež je prav na ralo pršel in prav nič nas ni motilo. Naj se sliši se tako čudno, meni je to nežno pršenje ustrezalo, kakor osvežitev. Nikamor se nam ni mudilo in pot smo prehodili prav zlagama.
