Access to the starting point:
From the motorway Ljubljana - Jesenica take the exit Lesce and follow the road towards Bled and on to Bohinjska Bistrica. From Bohinjska Bistrica turn left towards Tolmin and Soriška mountain pasture. Soon we will see mountain signs for Črna prst along the road pointing to the right, but we continue straight ahead. Just a little later we come to a crossroads where a signpost points slightly right towards the village of Ravne. Continue past the large parking lot by the Kobla ski slope, and we follow the asphalt road, which begins to climb steeply, to Ravne, where the road is laid. Here we continue until the asphalt ends. Park on the left side of the road in the parking lot.
Path description:
West of the parking lot, follow cart track into the woods, where a narrower path soon branches off to the left. Walk for 1 hour to the next dirt road. In the last part of this path, the hiker has the choice of either turning immediately towards the road and following it westwards to the turn-off for Orožno's cottage, or following the last part of the path through the forest. It is advisable to turn left immediately towards the road, as the alternative has many forks (and forest logging trail), which are sometimes harder to see.
From the macadam cross-road it continues towards Orožno's hut, which is a 45-minute walk away. The route to Orožno's hut is well marked.
From Orožnova hut, you no longer follow the marked path to Črna prst, but descend some 10 metres and continue along an unmarked path (once the path to Črna prst), which first crosses a pasture and then turns into a forest. When the path emerges from the woods into the open, it is followed for a few minutes before turning into the woods to the right of a large boulder. The path is then followed carefully to the ridge between Črna prst and Lisc. The path is indicated by cairns and coloured ribbons hanging from the branches. In this part from Oroznova hut onwards, the area is botanically very diverse in spring or early summer, so the hiker should be careful and not stray from the trail.
From the ridge onwards, the route is easy to follow, as the ridge is followed to the top of Lisca.
