Access to the starting point:
a) Exit the Primorska motorway at exit Divača, then follow the signs for Divača and Sežana. When you reach Povir, before the crossroads where the road to Brestovica at Povir turns right, turn right into the gravel parking area next to the bus stop.
b) Take the Sežana, then continue along the old road towards Divača. When you reach Povir, after the crossroads where the road to Brestovica pri Povirju turns left, turn left into the gravel parking area next to the bus station.
Path description:
From the starting point, walk to the crossroads and then turn left into the village of Povir. Continue walking between the houses, going straight ahead at the crossroads, and then follow the signs for the Inn at the Povir Hill. After crossing the railway line Sežana - Divača, go right (on the left is the above-mentioned inn and the marked path to Stari tabor) and then walk past the Povir railway station. You will quickly reach a large chapel, after which turn left onto a minor road, and from the minor road, before its end, turn left onto cart track. Cart track climbs gently at first through sparse scrub, then turns into woods and becomes a little steeper. There is a cross-climb to the right and then a road junction is reached.
Cross the road to the right and continue towards Gure. The path ahead takes us along the wide cart track, from which a forest path branches off slightly to the left, which we continue along (the summit is also reached by continuing along the wide cart track). There is a moderate climb for a few minutes, and then the path turns to the right and quickly leads us to Gure, where the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is situated.

Danes opravila, cudovita pot. Od kapelice je po novem krizev pot vklesan v kamnih. Ko prides na razpotje gres po drugi poti na desno naprej pa do cerkve na vrhu.
Nazaj sem sla po spodaj po asfaltni ki gre vzporedno s to po kateri sem prisla direktno do vasi.
Tam pa takoj pred zidom na desno po poti mimo konjev in na pot na Stari tabor.
