Ponova vas - Županova jama

Access to the starting point:
First, drive to Grosuplje, then continue in the direction of Turjak and Županove jame. In Ponova vas, after the chapel, leave the main road towards Turjak and Županova jama and continue driving slightly left, on a narrower road in the direction that continues through the mentioned village. A little further on, the road splits and we continue slightly right (slightly left Cerovo), going straight ahead at the next junction. When the village ends, the road turns into a forest and we park in a suitable place on the roadside.

Path description:
From the starting point, continue along a macadam road that climbs through the forest. Higher up, the road is laid, and then after a few minutes of further walking, it leads us to a small crossroads, where a road branches off to the right towards the nearby military area, and we continue left, just a few metres further on, on a footpath towards Tabor Cerovo. The path ahead leads above the chapel of St Anthony the Hermit and ascends crosswise towards Camp Cerovo, which is reached after a few minutes' further walking. When you reach the walls, walk to the nearby registration box.
From the top, take the second path back to the road and continue south along it. After about 10 minutes, you will reach a crossroads in front of Županova jama, where you continue slightly to the left and then past a tourist building to the entrance to Županovo jamo.
