We drive from Mojstrana to Vrata. We can notice a landslide on the right side after »koča pri Peričniku«. We park here. If storms are predicted we better park in front of or behind the landslide.

On the lower side of the avalanche you will see a path that rises slightly along the avalanche named Črlovec. Soon, the path will start to ascend a bit more and will lead you between both rock falls made by the stream – the small and the big Črlovec. The path starts to ascend again and turns left after a two hour walk. You will have to descend a few meters and go across the ravine of the big Črlovec, which gets a bit dangerous, when wet. The path goes than to the left and brings us from the forest to a scree, covered with dwarf pine. Here, you must be careful. On the right side upwards leads a path towards Kukova špica and it is not marked. The path is now rising partly over grass and partly over screes. After a while we reach the meadows under the saddle Čez Gulce and below it, the path rises even more. To here, it has taken us about 4 hours of walking. We turn right and reach the top in about 30 min of walking on a pretty steep path that is not very exposed. Through the trip, we must be aware of the snow slips!
