Access to the starting point:
a) From the Ljubljana - Koper motorway, take the Brezovica exit, then continue in the direction of Podpeč (Podpeč can also be reached from Črna vas or Ig). In Podpeč, continue in the direction of Borovnica, Krimo and Rakitna, and continue along the edge of the Ljubljana Mor for a short distance, then the signs for Rakitna direct you left onto a steeply ascending road. The road then leads through Preserje, where it also begins to descend. After a short descent, continue left in the direction of Krimo and Rakitna, and we then follow the mostly ascending road to a junction where the road to Krimo branches off to the left. There is plenty of space to park at the junction.
b) First take Cerknica, then continue in the direction of Begunje, and when you arrive in Begunje follow the signs for Rakitno. From Rakitna, continue along the main road towards Preserje, and follow it to the crossroads where the road to Krimo branches off to the right. There is plenty of space to park at the junction.
Path description:
From the parking lot, follow the macadam road towards Krimo. The road soon enters the forest, where it then climbs for 1 hour with barely any significant gradient. A little further on, the road crosses a slightly larger clearing on the left and then starts to descend gradually. After 5 minutes of descent, it leads to a crossroads, where you turn left again in the direction of Krimo. The road then starts to climb steeply, then it lays down again and we are joined on the left by a path coming up from the valley (Preserje, Jezero, Tomišelj, Vrbljane and Strahomer). Continue along the road, which soon passes out of the wods and leads us to a large parking lot.
We have two options for continuing. You can either climb to the top by following the footpath which leads past the cross and across part of the meadow, or you can climb to the top by following the dirt road. The two paths join in front of the mountain lodge from where we also have a nice view.

V decembu 2006 sva se ponovno oglasila v koči na Krimu. Toplo priporočama, da se tudi vi odpravite na Krim, kjer vam v koči oskrbnik postreže z okusno joto in čajem z domačim medom. Medtem pa se vam skozi okno koče odpira čudovit razgled na Kamniške-Savinjske Alpe. Igor in Mateja

Ojla! Mene pa zanima, če se da priti z navadnim osebnim avtom čisto do Krima po tisti makedamski poti, ki se odcepi s ceste na Rakitno?

Mi smo se odpravili na Krim iz parkirišča pod sv. Ano in čez Planinco. Pot je dobro označena in lepo speljana skozi gozd. Včeraj je bila na nekaterih mestih malo blatna, zaradi dežja med tednom. Paziti je bilo treba na mokre kamne in korenine. Sicer je pa super. Na vrhu čudovit razgled na Julijce, Kamniške in proti Snežniku. V koči pa zelo dobra hrana in prijazen oskrbnik. Marjetka

al pa ko prideš gor pa ni sledi o snegu. nazadnje sem si razmere ogledala prejšnjo soboto, danes sem se celo prijatelju pohvalila, da grem gor in da imajo snegca!!!!! sonce in veter to je bilo vse.  pa sem se nahecala. ampak izlet mi je bil več kot všeč, prvič sem šla sama pa sem bila zelo zadovoljna. Zdravo, glede na to da piše (na predzadnji sliki) da je dostop dovoljen le za službena vozila, kje je "najdlje" kjer lahko pustimo avto in koliko še ostane za peš? Hvala!
