Access to the starting point:
From Ljubljana, take the motorway to Koper and take the Unec exit. At the junction, turn right in the route Mountain pasture, where you will take a sharp left at the junction towards Postojna (you can also take the old road to get here). Continue through Mountain pasture and turn right at the place where you will see the signs for Strmca and Studeno (you can also take the old road to get here). Continue through Mountain pasture and at the place where you will see signs for Strmca and Studeno, turn right. The road soon leads to the next crossroads, where it says Postojna on the left, Strmca and Studeno on the right, and nothing on the right. Continue straight on here and follow the road to the village of Lohača, where you turn right in the direction of Planinska Gora. Park just after the village in the roadside parking lot.
From Postojna follow the old road towards Ljubljana. Shortly after the village of Mačkovec, the road to Strmca turns sharp left. This road then soon leads to the next crossroads, where you continue left towards Strmca and Studeno. When the road leads to the village Lohača, turn right towards Planinska Gora. Park just after the village in the roadside parking lot.
Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the road along which you parked. After a few dozen metres the road goes into the forest through which it climbs moderately. After about 20 minutes of walking, you come out of the wods and immediately afterwards at a crossroads. Leave the road here and turn right onto cart track, which climbs gently up a grassy slope to the east. Cart track then crosses a pasture fence and shortly afterwards turns into a footpath, which is followed along an indistinct ridge. The ridge trail is sometimes completely lost but in fine weather this is no obstacle. Follow this path, which is not technically difficult, all the way to the top.
In fog, however, orientation from the road to the summit is difficult.

Bil poleti 2010 s kolesom. začetek poti je bil v Lazah. Fajn trening pljuč in vsega kar sodi zraven. Bi pa bilo zanimivo poizkusit transverzalo Petričev hrib - sv. Lovrenc. Že bil kdo? Mnenja?

Seveda je bil. Meni zanimiva pot. Lahko greš po poti, ki je bolj ravna (spustiti se je potrebno v dolino le pred Lovrencom), ali pa po vseh hribčkih gor in dol. Če ni ravno megla, potem orientacija ni težavna. Večinoma se da najti shojeno pot, če ne drugega vsaj od živali. Za kolo pot ni primerna.
