Grad - Grad Castle in Goričko

Access to the starting point:
a) First, drive to Maribor, then continue along the Pomurska motorway towards Murska Sobota. Leave the motorway at the Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici exit and continue driving towards Radenice. At Radenci turn left towards Gornja Radgona and then soon right towards Gederovci. From Gederovci continue straight on towards Krajna and Skakovci, and in Skakovci turn right towards Puconci. Follow the road towards Puconci to Lemerje, and turn left there towards Grad. Follow the road to the above-mentioned place, where you can park in the large parking lot next to the Church of the Assumption.
b) From Murska Sobota, drive to Lemerje and from there continue towards Grad, where you will park in the parking lot of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

Path description:
From the parking lot, walk behind the church, where signs for Grad Castle direct you slightly right onto a fenced footpath. The path continues alongside a nearby house, then turns left and gradually enters a dense forest, where it continues alongside a fence. The path climbs higher and turns left towards the church and the Castle of Grad. A short walk of 10 steps brings you to the entrance of the castle. To visit the castle you have to pay an entrance fee, which is € 2. 5 for adults and € 1. 5 for minors and students (the entrance fee information is from October 2010).
