Col - Kovk

Access to the starting point:
From the road Logatec - Idrija, at Godovič, take the road towards Črnji vrh and Ajdovščina. Follow the rather winding road to Col, where you park in the large parking lot opposite the church.
From Primorska, we first drive to Ajdovščina, then continue in the direction of Idrija. Follow the ascending road to Col, where you park in the large parking lot opposite the church.

Path description:
From the parking lot, continue along the asphalted road towards Predmeje. After about 5 minutes of walking, you will notice direction signs along the road, directing you to the left on the worse road in the direction of the path along the verge. The relatively winding road soon turns into cart track, which continues through a pine forest. At a small clearing, a well-marked path leaves the wide cart track and continues along a wide path which climbs cross-cuttingly through the initially still compacted forest. Slightly higher up the path passes onto grassy slopes, which are only crossed, and then the markings direct us left onto a slightly steeper path, which in a few minutes of further ascent takes us to the top of Kovka.
