Access to the starting point:
a) Drive to Gederovci (to get here from Radenci or Murska Sobota) and continue driving in the direction of Kuzma. As soon as you reach Sotina, turn left in the direction of Sotinski breg and Austria, and at the next crossroads go straight on in the direction of Austria. Sotina soon ends, and we drive past the quarry, and then we arrive at the border crossing Sotina, in front of which we park in a suitable place.
b) We drive to Kuzma (to get here from Grad, Mačkovci or Petrovci) and then continue driving towards Sotina and Austria. When Kuzma ends, there is a bit of a climb, then a descent, where you turn left at the junction with the priority road (Austria and the Kuzma border crossing on the right). You quickly arrive at Sotina, and we continue through the settlement to the end of the settlement, where we turn right in the direction of Sotinski breg and Austria, and at the next junction we go straight on in the direction of Austria. Sotina soon ends, and we drive past the quarry, and then we arrive at the border crossing Sotina, in front of which we park in a suitable place.
Path description:
From the border crossing, follow the road back approximately 200 m to Sotina, and at the 2 km road marker, take a sharp left onto cart track, which climbs transversely. cart track soon crosses the route of the downhill cycle track, which is cautiously crossed, and then continue on cart track, which turns right a little further on and brings you again close to the cycle track, where it disappears. Continue left and climb along the track (for our safety and the safety of the cyclists, do not walk on the track), and higher up, as the slope flattens out, you will reach another cart track, which takes you out of the woods. Some easy walking follows and we are joined on the left by a waymarked path from OMP Sotina, we continue straight on and within two minutes of further walking reach the lookout tower on the Sotina bank.
