Access to the starting point:
Follow the Vojsko- Nova Gorica road through Škrbina to the starting point at Anini hut 1230 nmv.
Path description:
To the starting point (Anina koča) along a macadam road. At Anina koča turn left onto an unmarked track. The trail is easy to follow at the beginning, but after a few tens of metres it gets lost, but you will soon find it. It winds in meanders up a rather steep bank. The left path descends and follows the ridge towards Golaki, while the right one soon gets lost in the potholes. Go up the ridge to Smrekov vrh. There is an Austro-Hungarian landmark on the top of the ridge, so we know where we are. The summit is not visible because it is covered with low beech trees. In summer, because it is still full of leaves, there is no view. Use the same route for the return as for the approach, otherwise you may get lost in the overgrowth.
