Alt-Wädenswil, located in the municipality of Richterswil (Switzerland), is one of the most impressive castle ruins in the Canton of Zurich. The barons of Wädenswil erected the oldest structure before 1200 with the residential tower. Large parts of the castle were then built in the 14th and 15th centuries under the Johannites.
