Description: With its 3404 m, Pic d'Aneto is the highest peak of all the Pyrenees.
The 1500 m of elevation gain and the 12 hours needed for the ascent and return are the least of the problems. In fact, one must cross the longest glacier in the Pyrenees, but above all for many many hours the progression takes place on an infinite scree where every meter must be earned with effort and patience.
