At an altitude of 3031m, Mont Ténibre, a belvedere over the Southern Alps, is the highest point of the Tinée. Mont Ténibre is one of the 3000s of the Southern Alps and Mercantour without great access difficulty. As such, Mont Ténibre is very popular with hikers who are numerous in summer to ascend it.
