Actually, my final destination was the nearby Testa Gardon (2118 m) but the snow was too powdery and too deep to proceed further with snowshoes, forced to throw in the towel. However, from the gias one can enjoy a nice panorama of the nearby peaks: above the building on the right Monte Grum and Bram, continuing Punta dell'Omo, Monte Borel, Cima Paracontard, to its left the rock called Pera Puntua with Gorfi to its left. After the indentation of Vallone di San Giacomo, my missed destination, the round summit of Testa Gardon emerges. Ascended from San Giacomo di Demonte, wonderful weather but icy wind with strong gusts from time to time.
