The Stepbergalm (1,592 m) lies on a saddle east of Kramerspitz in the Ammergau Alps, high above Bavarian Garmisch-Partenkirchen. From the hut, one enjoys a wonderful view of the Wetterstein Mountains with the mighty Zugspitze. The alm is particularly popular with families. The approach is not particularly long, and sheep and cows graze around the alm.
