the Wetterstein Mountains, especially Zugspitze and Alpspitze to the south. To the north nearby Krottenkopf, Hohe Kisten, to the west the bold Daniel and closer Kramerspitz, and to the west the entire Karwendel, even Sonnjoch can be spotted. Directly below lies the town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
