Description:
Splendid toboggan run in Val Aurina.
The excursion consists of a sled descent through the woods between Lutago and the top station of the Speikboden cable car, within the Speikboden ski area located in Valle Aurina, Alto Adige. This area is versatile and offers various winter activities besides skiing, such as tobogganing, a sport increasingly favored by families and children. The 9 km long toboggan run is one of the longest in Alto Adige and guarantees fun for all ages. The run is well-groomed, very wide, and artificially snowed if necessary up to Lutago. The run is on the Speikboden promontory, also famous for ski slopes, offering a magnificent view of Valle Aurina up to Vetta d'Italia. The starting point is at the top station, reachable on foot or, to avoid the long and challenging ascent, by Speikboden cable car. On this excursion, enjoy breathtaking panoramas from the highest point and while descending, with the option to go slowly or fast. Please be careful!
