A nice loop tour with MTBs on the Sarentine Alps.
The tour starts from the Kasereck/Kaseregg parking lot, passes through some splendid malgas, visits the characteristic Chiesetta del Morto or Totenkirchl, descends near San Martino in Val Sarentino, and finally climbs to the beautiful Santuario Santa Croce di Lazfons - Schutzhaus Latzfonser Kreuz with the nearby namesake hut. The excursion is not technically difficult, but on the stretch from Malga Getrum/Getrum Alm to the sanctuary there are sections where you have to push the bike downhill. Being a 31 km route with 1370 meters of ascent, it is not for everyone; you need to be fit.
