Petreasa is a fairy-tale place located in Horea commune, Apuseni Mountains
The place became known due to the aviation accident on January 20, 2014 when the plane piloted by Adrian Iovan made a forced landing near the summit, on the border between Alba and Cluj counties. As a result of this event, two people lost their lives. The plane wreckage was found by locals from Petreasa, who went based on information from television!
