Description:
The Torre di Pisa refuge is located on the summit of Cima Cavignon in the Dolomite Latemar group, at an altitude of 2671 m. It owes its name to a characteristic rocky pinnacle near the refuge, which is inclined just like the Leaning Tower of Pisa. From the refuge, the view spans Lagorai and Cima d’Asta, Pale di San Martino, Civetta, Pelmo, Marmolada and Piz Boè.
