Ski tour on 20.12.2017
From the Froschensee parking lot, follow the forest road signs towards Streicher/Kienberg. At 1000 m altitude, you reach a small flat basin in front of a 100m high rock ridge. This rock step is overcome diagonally across the slope on the goods track, which is frequently buried by avalanches. The terrain now flattens, cross the west slopes of Streicher into the depression between Streicher and Rauschberg. Then turn east and ascend moderately steeply through sparse high forest in open terrain towards the summit cross of Streicher.
