Description:
Built high above the Danube on a rock lies this small castle ruin of which only the gatehouse, remnants of the ring wall and as the absolute "highlight" the tower have survived. Visitors reach the tower via a solid steel staircase structure. The view of the Danube Valley and the "Schlögener Schlinge" offered from above is fantastic. No wonder this ruin counts as one of the most scenic in the Danube region.
