Description:
Above the Pesenbach Valley on a forested mountain height is this once stately castle complex, which around 1600 was converted into a palace and from the 18th century abandoned to decay, so that today unfortunately only parts of the buildings and ring walls and a large vaulted cellar remain. From the castle, there is a beautiful view of the fertile plain of the Eferding Basin and into the Alpine foothills.
